01 What does Barbi Braude do?
Barbi is a designer and digital production specialist in Chilliwack, BC. She designs books and family histories, annual reports, brochures and other print pieces, builds and looks after websites, and helps small businesses, non-profits and families make sense of their marketing and digital communications.
02 Where is Barbi based, and who does she work with?
She works from Chilliwack in the Fraser Valley. Her clients range from local families and small businesses to organizations in Metro Vancouver and across British Columbia, and she is happy to work with people further away over email and Zoom.
03 Can you turn our family history into a book?
Yes. Genealogy books and memoirs are a big part of Barbi’s work, from The Mierowsky Family to Tapestry: The Threads of My Life. She shapes the photos, documents and stories into a finished book and prepares the print-ready files.
04 Do you design annual reports and print materials for organizations?
Yes. Barbi has designed annual reports for the Judicial Council of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia, a report for the National Housing Council, and brochures, newsletters, invitations and posters for many other clients.
05 Can you help me look after my own website?
Yes. As well as designing and building websites, Barbi keeps them up to date and patiently teaches clients to make everyday changes themselves, including one-on-one tutoring over Zoom.
